Snow, Sun, & Knitting

We ventured to Garrett County where my parents have a camp. My mother mentioned to me that she hoped the roof hadn't collapsed under the weight of snow. My WH stewed and stewed about it until we HAD to go check. Here is a picture of the lane going into camp; barely wide enough for our truck, then we had to park at the neighbors because it was only snowblowed that far. The big hump in front of us, out the windshield is one of the neighbor's truck!!
Have I mentioned how much I HATE the cold. So we park at the neighbors(about 100yards from our camp) and we hike through the woods. Oh what fun! Beautiful as it was the snow was thigh deep (waist deep in places), I thought I was having a heart attack. I had to stop twice to catch my breath. Finally I can see it, is it still standing?

Yes!!
It is still standing and the roof hasn't collapsed! If I would have known, I would have stayed home!! But my parents were very grateful that we trekked through all that snow to check on it!! And you know it's always good to make the parents happy, plus they have enough to worry about.
But now the sun is out and it have hit the upper 50s for the past 2 days!!! I am in my glory!!

I finished my Baktus. I really like it! I made it out of stash sock yarn, it's Paton's Kroy. I love how it turned out, it will get alot of wear!
